The Kammok Roo is the camping hammock built for life changing adventure. Inspired by the kangaroo, this camping hammock will get you off the ground in a hurry, give you a comfortable, secure place to rest, and then pack up quick so you can continue on your way.

Made of Kammok’s proprietary diamond ripstop fabric, LunarWave, the Roo is incredibly lightweight, tear resistant, breathable, and roomy enough for two. The Roo hammock packs easily into its attached water-resistant compression sack, getting down to the size of an angry blowfish.

The Roo comes fully equipped with two (2) patent-pending Kanga Claw carabiners, and two (2) Dyneema Racer Slings (that’s $34 of climbing gear). Multiple gear loops along the perimeter of the Roo allow for fully customizable storage and tie out options.

Of course while you are at it take a look at the Kammok Python Straps (sold separately) to have the quickest and easiest set up around.

I love this hammock.  I have tried a couple of other ones in the past and bought this as a replacement for my last hammock.  This is by far, the best one that I have tried yet.  It is much softer feeling when laying in the hammock as well as still being strong enough to support two people being in the hammock at the same time comfortably.

I recently purchased the Roo (Nakuru blue/stone gray) and I absolutely love it! I have been wanting a hammock for quite sometime and buying a Roo was well with the wait.
The Roo is lightweight and durable. The best part about the Roo is that it is easy to assemble and disassemble. I love that I can take it anywhere with me. The pouch keeps it neat and I can carry it around in my pack with no extra hassle. Last but not least the color I got which was Nakuru blue/ stone gray looks great. The blue is very vibrant and goes great with the grey!
If you are thinking about purchasing a Roo go for it! But make sure you get the python straps to go along with it because with the straps it takes less than 5 minutes to assemble the hammock. I would recommend the Roo to the experience and the inexperienced users. Not to mention, since Kammok partners with Malaria No More, when you buy a Roo you Kammok provides a treated mosquito net or health education to a family in Africa to fight malaria.

I've been wanting a hammock for a long time. I finally decided to shell out a few bucks for the Kammok and Python Straps(sold separately) and it was well worth it.

First off, it was extremely easy to set up. Loop the straps around the trees, hook on the carabiners and voila! Instant hammock. The material is extremely soft. Nothing like the scratchy parachute fabric of other products I have. The color is beautiful as well. Overall, a very nice hammock. The pouches for storage are nice too--both in aesthetics and function. The only problem I had was getting the Roo back into its stuff pouch. It took me a while because it is such a snug fit. But I'm sure it'll get easier to do over time.

The Kammok is well worth the money. And it feels good knowing that some of my money is going towards good causes--read their website if you're not familiar with their mission.

The Kammok Roo is a great hammock and certainly is worth every penny you spend on it. It is durable, well made, certainly is big enough, and VERY comfortable! I would recommend it to everyone.

Great Product, Even Better Customer Service April 18, 2013

Just received my Kammok Roo w/ Python Straps in the mail today. I can't wait to use it! Incredibly fast shipping! I was expecting it to take at least 7 days (as stated) but the folks at Kammok got it to me under 3 days--just in time for me to use it on my two days off! Very Impressive! I just had to leave a review because that's great customer service right there! A further review perhaps once I've had the pleasure of using it! Thanks Kammok
